FAQs About Our Rides, NYC Horse and Carriage Ride Prices, Weather Conditions, and More

Before you take your first trip with us, we want to give you answers to our most commonly asked questions about our trips, our NYC horse carriage prices, and, of course, our beautiful horses.

Can my ride be canceled due to the weather?

On occasion, your ride may be canceled due to inclement weather. According to New York State regulations, we will cancel our rides if it is 18 °F or below outside, or if there are extreme storms or icy conditions in the city.

Though these cases are rare, our team will happily either reschedule or fully refund your ride when this happens, as we want your cost of a carriage ride in Central Park to be put to good use!

Do I need a reservation beforehand?

Yes! This is the best way to guarantee that you have secured a spot for one of our amazing tours. Book your ride ahead of time or call us directly to learn more about our availability.

What payment methods do you accept?

Since we highly recommend groups book a reservation with us online, our NYC horse and carriage ride prices can be paid with a credit card, Venmo, or Zelle. For more last-minute bookings, contact us directly to learn about our accepted payment methods.

Are the carriages safe to travel in?

Of course! Carriages pass an annual safety inspection to ensure that they are safe for customers to ride in. Additionally, our carriage drivers must obey all traffic laws when maneuvering throughout the city.

Are the horses well looked after?

These horses are not only looked after but they are loved. That is why all of our horses are examined by equine veterinarians at a minimum of two times a year, and they also get to spend at least five weeks of vacation time each year on pastures to ensure they are both happy and healthy.

Should I tip after my ride?

The cost of a carriage ride in Central Park does not include a tip. If you feel you’ve had a great experience with us, our drivers would appreciate any gratuity you would like to give.
